And — unique to Michigan — explore MINILAND Detroit: A collection of miniature replicas of beloved Detroit landmarks, built by a team of expert builders. Fun fact: It took over 5,000 hours and 1 million LEGO bricks to complete!

Take a ride
- 4D Cinema: Watch action-packed shenanigans play out on the big screen, with 4D effects that literally jump out at you. 3D glasses provided.
- Merlin’s Apprentice: Hop aboard one of Merlin’s enchanted carts and sour up into the sky. It’s an aerial carousel spinner that flies higher the faster you pedal! Kids must be 36 inches tall to ride.
- Kingdom Quest: A classic point-n-shoot interactive ride. Zap enemy trolls, skeletons, and other targets as your chariot rolls through medieval landscapes on your quest to rescue the Princess.
- LEGO Racers VR: Strap on a VR headset and buckle into your vehicle for The Great LEGO® Race Virtual Reality Experience. Steer clear of obstacles and sour through lava caves. It’s an extra $7 ticket charge per racer, but it’s a unique experience you won’t want to miss.
LEGO Play for all
- LEGO City Play Zone: An indoor play area full of things to climb on. Socks are required.
- DUPLO Farm: Younger kids will enjoy this interactive play area, themed around animals. Instead of LEGO bricks, you’ll find larger DUPLO blocks, so you won’t have to worry about any pieces being swallowed.
Build to your heart’s content
- LEGO Racers: Build & Test: Use provided LEGO bricks to build the coolest vehicle you can. Then, cheer on your creation as it races against others down the track. It’s loads of fun that will have kids’ imaginations revving to go.
- LEGO Friends Heartlake City: The fab-five — Andrea, Mia, Olivia, Stephanie and Emma — want you to help them build Heartlake City. Add your own colorful creations to the city in this interactive build area.
- Underwater Quest: Visit an underwater-themed interactive build area teeming with sea life. Don’t forget to strike your best fish pose next to Shark Guy — made entirely of LEGO bricks, of course.
- Earthquake Tables: Test your tower creations against the brutal power of an earthquake. Will you be able to build something that withstands?
Character appearances
Snap a commemorative photo with some of your favorite LEGO characters at the Meet & Greet area during designated times.

Where do I park?
Great Lakes Crossing Outlets offers free parking. Park near Entry 6 for easiest access.
How much do tickets cost?
Enjoy discounted prices when you book tickets in advance. A day ticket costs $21.99 per person in advance, or $24.99 day-of. And don’t forget to add-on the VR Experience, $7 per person.
They also offer combo pricing, which allows you to buy tickets to multiple Michigan kids attractions at the same time. Available for purchase from the Legoland Discovery Center ticket page.
Things to do around Legoland Discovery Center
Conveniently located in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, Michigan’s largest outlet shopping center, there’s plenty to do right outside the discovery center as well. Check out these kid-friendly favorites:
SEA LIFE Michigan
Also in the outlet mall, right across from the Rainforest Cafe, is Michigan’s largest aquarium, housing over 250 species and 2,000 creatures. Walk through an underwater tunnel, touch a starfish in a tidal pool, look at dazzling, colorful fish, and learn about wildlife conservation.

Peppa Pig World of Play

Riverside Park
