When the summer heat starts to take a toll, and the thought of another sand-covered car ride home from the beach makes you shudder — consider taking the kids to an indoor bounce park.
Metro Detroit has a wide selection of inflatable and trampoline parks. If there are little ones in tow, know that many parks have sectioned off areas for younger kids to safely play. For older kids, there are a number of local adventure parks offering zip lines, intense drops, climbing walls and much more.
Ditch the layers of sunscreen and waterlogged sandals for air conditioned fun at one of the parks on the list below.
Airborne Adventure Park

There are more than just floor to ceiling trampolines at this park. Fly high on the trapeze or try to run up the warped wall. Dodgeball, basketball hoops and parkour training, too.
AirTime Trampoline and Game Park

Climbing walls, obstacle courses and trampoline dodgeball awaits visitors at this park. There’s a dedicated play spot for little kids, too.
Bounce House
Address: 39080 Van Dyke Ave., Sterling Heights
Inflatables abound at this bouncing spot. Visit for inflatable racing slides, bounce castles, an arcade and more.
Bounce it Up
Address: 30276 Plymouth Road, Livonia
This bouncing spot offers a separate area for kids under 3 years. Dueling slides, arcade games, obstacle courses and more, too.
Launch Family Entertainment

Kids, teens and even adults will love launching themselves into these thrilling activities. Bounce on trampoline and sports courts, play laser tag, test your skills on the ninja course or rock climbing walls, go bowling or axe throwing and so much more.
Pump It Up

Pump it Up offers a large number of inflatable bounce houses, obstacle courses and slides. It’s a popular spot for birthday parties, but kids can also be dropped off. Call ahead for reservations.
Sky Zone
Address: 42550 Executive Drive, Canton, 2737 Union Lake Road, Commerce Township and 50810 Sabrina Drive, Shelby Township
This trampoline spot boasts three metro Detroit locations and more than enough bouncy attractions to keep even the most thrill-seeking of kids entertained for hours. Both locations have foam pits, climbing zones and trampolines.
Springz

Wall-to-wall trampolines, laser tag, bumper cars and many more attractions are available at most Springz locations, which are located inside Zap Zone. Trampolines are at every location but other attractions vary by site.

Trampoline dodgeball, basketball, exciting jump zones and a toddler park for littles await families at this trampoline park.
Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park
