About the speakers
Robert B. Brooks, Ph.D., is one of today’s leading speakers and authors on the themes of resilience, motivation, school climate, a positive work environment, and family relationships. During the past 45 years, Dr. Brooks has presented nationally and internationally to thousands of parents, educators, mental health professionals, and business people. His talks are filled with practical, realistic suggestions and he is renowned for the warmth and humor he uses to bring his insights and anecdotes to life.
Sam Goldstein, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Goldstein has authored dozens of books, chapters, and peer-reviewed research articles. Goldstein serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Attention Disorders and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Encyclopedia of Child Development. Goldstein and Brooks have authored many books including “Tenacity in Children, Raising Resilient Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders: Strategies for Maximizing Their Strengths, Coping With Adversity and Developing a Social Mindset.”
