Schools calendars provide families with a snapshot of the entire year. Holidays breaks, the first day of school and professional development days vary school by school, so it’s a great idea to keep it handy. Here is the 2023-24 school calendar as approved by Birmingham Public Schools.
Here are a few key dates you’ll want to bookmark:
- First Day of School (half day): Aug. 28, 2023
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-24, 2023
- Winter Break: Dec. 22, 2023-Jan. 2, 2024
- Midwinter Break: Feb. 19-23, 2024
- Spring Break: Mar. 25-29, 2024
- Last Day of School: June 6, 2024
