Summer is upon us, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to make fun memories. What better way to bring your family together than with music? Southeast Michigan is full of summertime concerts for you and your family to enjoy.
My son Jordan and I love going to Music and Movies in the Park at the Civic Center. They always have fun activities for the kids to do beforehand and we get to sit and listen to music before the movie begins.

Summer Concert Series at Stony Creek Metropark

Concerts will be held at Eastwood Beach. Bring blankets, chairs and even a picnic to enjoy while listening to fun tunes across multiple genres. For all ages.
Symphony by the Shores at Lake St. Clair Metropark

Sunday Night Concert Series at Lake St. Clair Metropark

Kids Komotion Concert Series at Marshbank Park

Enjoy some free, musical fun at Kids Komotion Concerts, which feature interactive children’s entertainment and inflatables. There will be snacks and refreshments available to purchase. Children’s Theatre of Michigan is on June 20 and Guy Louis Sferlazza is on Aug. 22. Pre-registration is required.
Rhythms in Riley Park
