Fourth of July is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate America’s independence than with enormous explosions in the sky?

Even better, you can see fireworks in metro Detroit before and after the Fourth of July with these spectacular shows happening throughout June and July. Watch your kids light up when they see fireworks in the sky!

For Independence Day 2024, metro Detroit residents are celebrating with tons of Fourth of July fireworks displays and fun events — all you have to do is find the right one for you and your family.

Ever since I can remember, my parents took me to see my hometown fireworks in downtown Mount Clemens and I always do the same with my son, Jordan. We try to make it to a few different fireworks displays because there are always fun activities at the events beforehand.

2024 Rosefest

Enjoy a pedal cart raceway, Nerf wars, live entertainment in the gazebo, family movie night and fireworks at dusk.

Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival

June 19-23, 2024

The short-lived water bugs drive the theme of this fest, which has a carnival, fireworks, parade, kid’s activities, cardboard boat race, corn hole tournament and more.

Head to M1 Concourse’s 7th Annual Cars Under the Stars Fireworks Spectacular. The firework show will begin at dusk. There will also be live music, food trucks and fireworks at M1 Concourse.

Wander through Greenfield Village and enjoy small ensembles from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra scattered around the open-air history museum.
