The school’s modern facilities, flexible class schedules and Division I athletics make it a strong choice for students looking to blend traditional campus life with real-world opportunity.

Oakland University students benefit from the school’s proximity to world-class businesses, art museums and health care systems, all from its tranquil campus in Rochester, Michigan.

Ongoing projects include renovations to Meadow Brook Hall, a new humanities facility and additional parking and housing spaces.

At Oakland, more than 83 percent of students commute. Although most students live off campus, school spirit is still strong, especially during big games for its Division I teams.

Tuition is calculated based on a number of factors, including which program students study and whether they are “upper” or “lower” division based on credit hours.
