Irish Restaurants in Macomb County

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, and there’s no better way to celebrate the holiday than a taste of Irish-style cuisine.

Here, you’ll find 18 local restaurants in Macomb County that are inspired by traditional Irish pubs and feature delicious eats such as bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie and more.

Hennessey’s Pub + Kitchen

Features unique salad options like The Village Salad, The Salmon Salad and Michigan Cherry Salad. A section of the menu dedicated to burgers like the Irish Boxer, Slap on the Wrist, Black and Bleu and El Chapo. Offers Irish egg rolls, fish tacos, nachos and more.

Jake O’Malley’s Irish Pub

Starters include Leprechaun Chips and Pub Pickles. There’s also salad, soup, burgers and tacos. Plus, Reuben sandwiches, hand-battered perch and much more.

Kay Jay’s Irish Pub

Beef nachos, boneless wings, antipasto salad, corned beef, burgers, subs and calzones are all on the menu here. Ask about weekly specials and drink menu.

Malone’s Tavern

People “come for the pint” and “stay for the cheers” at this local spot, which features shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash and Dublin fish tacos on the adult menu and pizza, quesadilla, chicken strips, mac and cheese and grilled cheese on the kids menu.

Mc Clenaghan’s Pub

This casual and cozy pub offers beer, cocktails and hard liquor. As far as food, find burgers, sandwiches and other pub grub.

O’Halloran’s Public House and Hall

To start, try their corned beef stuffed wrap, pulled pork nachos, poutine or baked pretzel. They also have plenty of sandwiches, burgers, salads and pizza to choose from. For the wee ones, they have chicken tenders, sliders, pizza and buttered noodles.

Paddy Whacks Pub

Try their Dublin Style Nachos, Irish Egg Rolls, Paddy Whack Special burger or The Irishman sammie, which is slow roasted corned beef with maple bourbon whiskey sauce and house-made coleslaw on a sesame seed bun.

This spot has a ton of fish options, including perch and walleye dinners and lobster artichoke stuffed salmon. Plus, reubens, shepherd’s pie, salads, burgers and soups.

Pub 1281

This local spot offers a “corner bar” experience that feels like an Irish pub. Find a selection of domestic and imported beers along with burgers, fish and more.

Shamrock Pub

This spot features a small menu, but their burgers are a must try. Have a Shamrock Burger, Shamrock Chili or Utica Chili and seasoned fries.

The Hut Bar & Grill

Originally known as, Mangans Irish Hut, but is now under new ownership.  This bar and grill sells pizza, burgers and sandwiches – including their 3/4lb corned beef and swiss sandwich served on grilled rye bread. They’ll be selling corned beef sandwiches, stew and pizza on St. Patrick’s Day.

The Lucky Leprechaun Irish Pub

This pub features burgers and handhelds such as the Irish Burger, the Irish patty melt and the Reuben grilled cheese sandwich. For the kids, they have tenders, grilled cheese, a burger and fish and chips.

Three Blind Mice Irish Pub

This bar offers an old-fashioned pub atmosphere and seating that were once church pews. Food includes Irish tots, Scotch eggs, corned beef and cabbage and more. Extensive beer and spirits list, too.
