Restaurants Offering Thanksgiving Dinner Takeout in Metro Detroit

Looking for someone else to brave the heat in the kitchen this Thanksgiving? Whether your little ones crave pumpkin pie topped with heaps of whipped cream, or you’re looking to dine over a smorgasbord of traditional trimmings in front of the Lions’ game, there’s a local restaurant near you waiting to make your holiday hankerings come true.

There are even substitutes and condescend menus to appease appetites for unconventional fare, and to-go deals for those who want to dine at home without all the hassle. Check out these restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinner takeout in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

Aspen Restaurant and Bar 

For Thanksgiving, the menu offers traditional options including oven-roasted turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable and cranberry sauce for $24.99.

Buca di Beppo

This Buca-style turkey feast can accommodate a small party at home. The small (feeds three people) is $105 and the large (feeds six people) is $160. Pans include the traditional fixings such as turkey, stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. You can order Italian extras like pasta, too.

Capital Grille 

This spot’s Thanksgiving At Home option includes brioche stuffing, French green beans, mashed potatoes, housemade gravy, cranberry-pear chutney, pecan sweet potatoes with hot honey and seeded rolls for $135. You can add on pumpkin cheesecake for $13. Order ahead and choose your pick-up date to be Nov. 22-23.

Carlyle Grill

Enjoy a delicious turkey dinner with all the sides and dessert or, if you’re not feeling the turkey, sub prime rib or salmon for an additional charge — or stuffed butternut squash for no charge. Also, family style sides like Michigan maple mashed sweet potatoes, honey glazed green beans and carrots, cornbread dressing, homemade cranberry sauce and more. The meal also comes with your choice of dessert with options such as pumpkin pie, pecan pie or apple, pear and cranberry crumble.

Ernie’s Mediterranean Room

Ernie’s Thanksgiving Day Grand Buffet has been a tradition in Clinton Township for over 30 years. This year’s take-out only option features a traditional turkey dinner that comes with roasted turkey breast, Grandma’s dressing, whipped potatoes and gravy, pumpkin pie and more for just $35/person. You must order and pre-pay by Nov. 21, 2023.

Fleming’s Steakhouse

Call the location nearest you to place your order for herb-roasted turkey and all the fixings. Thanksgiving menu is $56/person.

Gandy Dancer 

This spot’s Thanksgiving meal includes a 20-pound turkey, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, whipped potatoes, homemade gravy, candied sweet potatoes, a marinated vegetable salad, house-made bread, roasted acorn squash, pumpkin pie and pecan pie for just $325. Orders must be placed by Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023 and pick-ups are Nov. 22-23, 2023.

Kruse & Muer

Enjoy a traditional all-American turkey dinner, complete with apple herb stuffing, maple glazed sweet potatoes, buttered mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry cherry sauce and Kruse & Muer rolls. This family style meal serves 4-6 guests and is only $175 and an individual plate is $30.

Rugby Grille

This grill is offering an all-out Thanksgiving dinner for $125/person (kids menu is a la carte). Enjoy everything from Michigan Salad to turkey, sides and even dessert.

Simple Palate 

Call ahead pre-order your Thanksgiving meal that is $30/person. It includes roasted turkey, stuffing, meatballs with gravy, mac and cheese, cranberry, cornbread, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and pumpkin cheesecake. Must pick up by Nov. 22, 2023 and order ahead.

The Vintage House

Pick up your Thanksgiving meal curbside at this Fraser spot. Find meals for 5 people for $235 and for 10 people for $425. The meal comes with an Amish whole turkey, Bavarian glazed ham and sides like mashed potatoes, holiday stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and more. Must pre-order by end of the day Monday, Nov. 20, 2023.

The Whitney 

All of their Thanksgiving dinners are served with a first course, main course and dessert course for $69.95. The vegetarian option is $59.95 and the kid’s turkey dinner is $49 for ages 10 and under.

Zingerman’s Roadhouse 

Enjoy a free-range bird either traditional oven-roasted or coffee-spice smoked. Turkey for Two is $150 and Feast for Four is $340. Add on a bottle wine to your meal and receive 30% off.
