Last night, a major piece of Detroit history was made. The Detroit Lions hadn’t been in a playoff game since 1994 and they beat the Los Angeles Rams in a 24-23 victory.

Stop by Blake’s Backyard in Almont for some Lions-themed doughnuts, which are Honolulu blue with white sprinkles. Donut Bar + Coffee in Southfield will also be featuring its chocolate dip doughnuts and footballs with “Go Lions” again on Sunday, Jan. 21. The “Go Lions” doughnuts must be ordered ahead, but the football doughnuts do not.
Grab a Detroit Lions Pot Pie for Dinner
Get your kids to actually eat their vegetables by ordering and picking up a Detroit Lions chicken pot pie from Great Lakes Pot Pies. Orders must be placed ahead of time by calling 248-266-1160.

M Street Baking Co is offering a Detroit Lions-themed milkshake for a limited time. Le Detroit Macaron is offering a Lions-themed macaron set with flavors like Lions Kool-Aid, Barry’s Bumpy Cake and Rock N’ Roary (which are very limited right now).
Eat at a Kid-Friendly Detroit Sports Bar
Whether you’re eating before the game on Sunday or you’re watching the game downtown, families can enjoy these Detroit sports bars. Hockeytown CafĂ© will have customers immersed in Detroit sports and offers a kids menu for ages 12 and under. Other kid-friendly bars include Starters Bar and Grill Midtown, Bookie’s Bar & Grille, Buffalo Wild Wings and more.

Lions VIP Tailgate at Eastern Market
Families can buy a tailgating ticket at Eastern Market in advance to tailgate three hours before kick-off on home game days. Kids under 8 are free and do not need a tailgating ticket. There will be all-you-can-eat premium food stations, top-shelf cocktail bar, beer bars and wine bars. Also, visits from Lions cheerleaders, Xbox gaming area, live silent auction on signed Detroit Lions memorabilia and more. Parking at Eastern Market is free, but on a first-come, first-serve basis.
