Taking Metro Detroit Kids to Disney on Ice in 2024

Come out to Little Caesars Arena to see your favorite Disney princesses and characters take the the ice in Disney on Ice Presents Magic in the Stars.

Mirabel from “Encanto” will be there with her family and her home, Casita, and Elsa and Anna from “Frozen” will be there along with Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. Plus, some of your favorite characters from “Aladdin” and “The Princess and the Frog” will be making appearances!

Of course, a Disney on Ice event is not complete without Mickey and Minnie, so you’ll see them too – along with some of their other friends! You can enhance the event by purchasing a character experience, in which you can interact, craft and take pictures with Elsa and Mirabel before the show.

  • Get there early to have ample time to hit concession stands, bathrooms and souvenir shopping.
  • If you’re stressed about finding parking, you can pay for parking ahead of time online. The website shows you a map of different parking lots (all within 10-minutes of walking distance) and the amount they cost.
  • LCA is a cash-less venue. You will have to have a debit or credit card to purchase anything. If you do not have a card, you may convert your cash to a VISA card with no fees or extra charges at the kiosks at Portal 9 and Portal 58.
  • Let your kids dress in costume to the show. Even if they don’t have an actual costume, let them create their own by putting their hair in braids like Elsa and Anna or wearing colorful clothing like Mirabel.
  • Turn the camera and record your child watching the show. Seeing this experience through their eyes will make it all worth it!
  • For an extra $65, you can make your kid’s day with the pre-show Elsa and Mirabel Character Experience. Kids will enjoy crafting and more interactive time with the two movie characters. Note: Each guest must purchase the Character Experience add-on and a Disney on Ice show ticket.
