Trick or Treat Trail at Clinton Township Civic Center
Oct. 21, 2023

- Cost: $7/resident child, $9.50/non-resident child, free/adults
Kids 11 and under can enjoy a “live” friendly character nature trail and collect toys and candy along the way. Each child will pick out their own pie pumpkin. Pre-registration required.
Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo
Oct. 7-8, 14-16, 20-22, 2023

- Cost: $17-$23/general admission, free/under 2, $8/parking (including for members)
The Detroit Zoo will be open until dark for this annual “merry-not-scary” Halloween celebration, which features strolling entertainment, Halloween face painting, photo opportunities, trick-or-treating stations and more. This year, they added themed weekends. Oct. 7-8 is Nerd Out in Nature, Oct. 14-15 is Monster Mash and Oct. 20-22 is Movies, Books & Make Believe!
Halloween Hoot at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve

This 32nd annual bash features spooky nature fun, including trail walking, campfire entertainment and more. Registration required.
Motor City Brass Band “Horns & Howls” at Ford Community & Performing Arts Center

- Cost: $18/adult, free/ages 12 and under
Motor City Brass Band returns with its annual performance, which features Halloween music. Come dressed in costume.
Hallowe’en at Greenfield Village

- Cost: $23/member ages 12-plus, $27/non-member ages 12-plus, $17.25/member ages 2-11, $20.75/non-member ages 2-11, free/2 and under; $3/train tickets
Walk the illuminated jack-o’-lantern paths through Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow and other spooky worlds. There is a Halloween train adventure on the Hallowe’en Express, fall treats and costumed characters throughout the village. New this year, free carriage rides throughout the village.
