Sure, spending time at your grandparents’ house for Easter – dining on all your favorite holiday meals and hanging out with the family – is nice, but why not step it up a notch this year? Hop into spring with some awesome activities by taking the youngsters to Bunnyville at the Detroit Zoo.
From April 18-19, the Royal Oak Zoo’s springtime event is the perfect place for you and your family to create memories and even create a new Easter weekend tradition.

What families can expect at Detroit Zoo’s Bunnyville

Included in the zoo’s admission, families need to certainly hop on over the April weekend to enjoy the following activities and more:
- Go on a golden egg hunt. Little ones can keep an eye out for those shiny eggs, plus there are more than 100 hidden throughout the zoo on each day.
- Enjoy family-friendly performances. The zoo will keep your little hoppers fully occupied with some live shows.
- Look like Peter Rabbit. Get into the Easter fun by having your kids get face painting over at the whisker-painting station.
- Take photos with the Easter Bunny. You can purchase the photos as a keepsake from your trip to one of the coolest zoos in Michigan.
