Best Fall Festivals for Metro Detroit Families

September marks the end of summer temps and the beginning of sweater weather, but just because summer comes to an end doesn’t mean the fall months lack plenty of family-friendly festivals in Michigan’s southeastern region.

Choose from pumpkin fests, family-friendly fairs and other events that are sure to be a hit.

Best Fall Festivals near me in Macomb County

There are some great fall fests happening in Metro Detroit in September and October. If you’re looking for food fests, the Romeo Peach Festival is a popular one. Michigan Renaissance Festival at the Hollygrove Grounds

Fair maids and merry men take a step back to the 16th century for jousting tournaments, comedy and theater shows, music, games and “real” mythological creatures. Each weekend is themed so check on it before you head out.
