Summer Camps for Kids in Macomb County

Summer camp is a rite of passage for kids in southeast Michigan. It allows them to make new friends, explore activities that interest them and create memories that will follow them through life.

But finding the perfect summer camp for your child’s specific interest and needs is a tall order — especially for parents with an already jam-packed schedule.

That’s where the Macomb County Department of Planning and Economic Development’s Summer Camp database comes in handy.

This tool lists some of the coolest summer camps in and around the county by type of camp, the start date and the community it happens in, making it easy for busy parents to search for the right camp fit for their kiddos. There are camps for kids who love the arts, nature, STEM and, of course, sports.

You can view the full database on the Macomb County website. In the meantime, get a taste of the 2023 summer camps kids will enjoy, here.
